Melt On - Dewy Lip Balm

Very hydrating and moisturizing to the lips.

This Oz Lab Melt On Lip Balm comes in a tube with a button that is supposed to dispense the correct amount of the balm. The idea is to use one application to tint your lips and then others to build up the color if you wish. But when I clicked the button, it didn't work. It dispensed no lip balm. So I used a brush dipped into the tube to apply it.I ordered the berry tint. I used a small amount, expecting a light, buildable layer. But no. Even with a small amount, the color was an intense, translucent berry color. But the effect of a translucent dark berry lip tint was unattractive. As an opaque lipstick, it would have been a nice color on me. But not in this balm format. The color also spread unevenly, to the point that it looked almost wine colored in places. I can't imagine this product being buildable. Perhaps a lighter shade would work better, but based on the product page photos, they all dispense too intensely for a lip balm. It was glossy and I'm sure it would provide good hydration. But this product is not for me.
