ResQ - Tinted Lip Treatment

I wasn’t sure whether this would be too dark for me, but I went for it. It’s very smooth and moisturizing, without feeling too heavy or cakey. It’s not like it’s a lipstick color, just a tinted lip balm so the color is more subtle and just enhances your natural lip color. I like that it’s a treatment with peptides. I keep it in my desk drawer so that I remember to apply often. And if I’m on a video call, all the better to have nearby.

The pictures sell this lipgloss so well!!! Like, c’mon! Fine, "click" 😂. Those pictures had me persuaded from the beginning. Also, the description talks about how it’s not sticky and I am very familiar with lip gloss and that’s a huge problem with the majority. So, when I saw they were advertising against it, I was really excited about my decision 😙 and it’s VEGAN…okay yes!Three words, "emotional roller-coaster". Initially I was excited when I ordered. Then, I was concerned when it was delivered, because of the clear packaging. It was opened. I looked at the lip gloss box, which is really cute btw and it was sealed with a sticker. Okay, boom, back excited 😆.I smelled it and YUM, delici-o-so sweet! Still excited.I go to put it on and instantly feel the sticky glide…😔. Now, im sad. Noooo, it’s just like the rest of them!!! Ugh..well, I hadn’t rubbed it off at this point, because I zone out and think maybe I misread the "without stickiness" part on the product page. I check and nope! It definitely says "Smooth Application Without Stickiness Glides".The lipgloss is still on at this point, but i notice that my lips feel soft! Like really soft! So I rub it off and they still feel soft! Girl, guessss what?!?! I’m back happy and I re-apply the gloss 🤭! See, emotional roller-coaster" 🎢This has squalene in it! How did I miss this?! Squalene is really good if you want your skin or wherever you’re putting this particular ingredient to retain moisture! Alongside, the peptides! This explains why my lips feel like they’re moisturized whenever I wear this and even when I take it off for a couple of hours! Granted, I do have to reapply, but my lips stay moisturized for way longer than regular lipgloss that claim "moisture".

I will say the formula is much thicker than I thought it was going to be. I would put it as the same as my Vaseline. It smells amazing.
