Jelly Squad - Lip and Cheek Stain

I am brown skin. The Hangry Watermelon Red made me look sun burnt or like an eczema flare up across my face. I'm not sure if itnwas the tint, the glossy finish, or both. It was almost liquid when I received it, so it needs to be in a cool, dry place. It also was a bit crumby leaving residue when I finally used it. It smells okay. I wasn't worried about taste since I'm not planning to eat it. Lol I just noted it's like a lip gloss-esque "flavor" and not super chemical, so it's fine for lip use for me, which I prefer. Though there isn't much in the container, it should last for a reasonable enough amount of time for what it is. I think it's a cute aesthetic product, but I didn't see how it's better than other options. My powder blush doesn't make my skin look inflamed. Who doesn't like lip stain and lip balm. In summer, something cooling is always a plus too. So I ordered these.What I liked:* These do have a real cooling effect* Come in four different shades, each slightly different* No stickiness or slickness to the lips* Good quality, they are packaged well with two safety measures, a sealed box and then a plastic covering over tube* Small enough to go into a pocket or crossbodyCons:* Not much product in the tube. Although the tube is much wider than similar products* Taste was blah, not fruity as expectedExperience:I tried these out on both the lips and cheeks. The product is a stain. It is not sticky and it is not slick. It also didn't have much of a taste. I did not smell fruit as some others described but I did like the cooling effect of the stain. It didn't last but a couple seconds but it was a nice feeling.

It has a very fruity scent. Color is a deep fushia red. It's not waterproof as it claimed though. It can easily be wipe off with water.

I was expecting more of a balm, but these fruit scented blush and lip stains are actually jelly like, or at least the applicator is. They come cutely packaged and have cute names like Goofy and Bubbly each one is a different scent and different color. I prefer the Mango/hangry one as it goes with my complexion better. The applicator is on the larger side so you need to blot it on your lips vs using it like a lipstick. I used my fingers to apply it as blush to ensure I didn;t just put a dot on my face, lol. I don't wear much makeup and when I do I prefer a more natural look and these can help achieve that look. (Because these are stains, you do need to finish your lips with a gloss or something moisturizing as it will dry them out. It says they have a cooling affect which I was actually concerned about since a lot if items like that for the lips will make my throat scratchy (like Blistex), but I didn't notice any issues.
